Pastor Walton and his wife Jan
moved their membership to Grace in November 2007
after serving as Senior Pastor of the Unity Baptist
Church in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, for over 18 years.
Saved in October 1978 at Florence Baptist Temple, he
later attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield,
Missouri, graduating (THG) in May 1984. His Bachelor
of Ministry & Masters of Ministry degrees were
earned in 1993 from Bethany Bible College & Bethany
Theological Seminary of Dothan, Alabama. After
returning to northern Kentucky from BBC he founded
and pastored the New Hope Baptist Church before
being called to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Mt.
Carmel, KY in 1987. In October 1989, he was called
as pastor as the church merged with another and
Unity Baptist Church was chartered.
Jan is our Pastor's mother (Bro. Charilie the
stepfather); the Walton's have 6 children, 14
grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
