How to Unite with Grace Baptist Church
There are three ways to become a member of GBC:

 Baptism:
For persons who have been saved by accepting
Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and desire to
obey Christ by being scripturally baptized by
immersion.
- For persons who have been saved by
accepting Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior and
desire to obey Christ by being scripturally
baptized by immersion.
- For persons whose membership is
currently in another denomination that
believe differently in faith & practice in
matters of salvation and baptism.
- Letter from another church of like
faith: For persons who are saved, have been
baptized by immersion after salvation, and are
members in good standing of another Baptist
church which will transfer them by letter to GBC
(we will handle transfer of the letter).
- Statement of faith: For persons who are
saved and have been baptized by immersion after
salvation, but are not members of another
Baptist church; or records are unavailable.
On Considering a Church…
- Are they doctrinally sound? (i.e. teaching
and preaching the Word of God)
- Is there clear evidence that they are
emphasizing and engaging in the Great
Commission?
- Is there a Mission Strategy/Program?
- Are there opportunities to serve?
- Does God’s Spirit bear witness with my
spirit in uniting with this local congregation?
